Swing by to check in, pick up all your Family Weekend materials, and grab a complimentary beverage from local favorite . Stick around to play some lawn games, connect with other families, and snap your official CC Tiger family photo!
Registration Central will be our home base all weekend long — a space to relax, recharge, and reconnect. Be sure to stop by Saturday afternoon when food trucks roll in for a casual outdoor lunch on the lawn.
Health & Wellbeing Street Fair and Okanagan Charter Signing Ceremony
1-3 p.m.
Location: Tava Quad, outside of Shove Chapel
Join President Manya Whittaker, college leadership, and the Health & Wellbeing Department as we officially join the Okanagan Charter, an international charter for health promoting university and colleges, which calls on post-secondary schools to embed health into all aspects of campus culture. The ceremony will kick off our inaugural Health & Wellbeing Street Fair where you can enjoy hands-on activities from our campus partners, including a unique sound healing experience led by the Chaplain’s Office. Explore wellness resources, connect with campus experts, and enjoy light refreshments as we come together to celebrate our thriving and vibrant CC community.
Student Research and Internship Symposium
3–5 p.m.
Location: Edith Kinney Gaylord Cornerstone Arts Center, 825 N. Cascade Ave.
The SCoRe (Summer Collaborative Research) and Internship Symposium is the culminating event after a summer of collaborative research and internship experiences conducted by 华体会 students and faculty as well as through off-campus organizations. The event brings the CC community together for a series of short presentations, poster sessions, and discussions across a variety of academic disciplines. Research is funded by the Office of the Dean of the College's Faculty Student Collaborative Grant, departmental funds, internal and external research grants, and the Career Center’s Student Internship Funding Program.
Dinner on Your Own – Explore Colorado Springs!

Friday evening is the perfect time to experience the local flavor of . Whether you're craving casual bites, upscale dining, or something in between, the city offers something for every palate.
Dinner will be provided during Saturday evening's Family Weekend event, so we encourage you to make reservations for Friday night and take full advantage of the vibrant culinary scene just minutes from campus!
Family Weekend Block Party
7 – 9 p.m.
Location: Stewart Field
Start the weekend off right by joining fellow CC families at our Family Weekend Block Party! Enjoy sweet treats from local favorite, CC alumni-owned , roast s’mores by the fire pits, and join in some friendly lawn games — all while taking in the CC Men’s Soccer game versus the University of the Ozarks, kicking off at 7 p.m.
FAC Theatre Presents: Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B

Location: Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at 华体会, 30 W. Dale St.
Join us at the FAC for a theatrical presentation of Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson – Apt. 2B. Oddball female roommates Sherlock (yes, it’s also a girl’s name) Holmes and Joan Watson join forces and emerge from the COVID pandemic fog as a deeply codependent, quasi-dysfunctional odd couple adventure duo. Solving mysteries and kicking butts, they soon come face-to-face with a villain who seems to have all the answers.
An irreverent, darkly comic, modern take on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s famous sleuth and sidekick, this fast-paced romp re-examines the world’s most famous detective story through a bold new lens.

Men's & Women's Cross Country Meet - Ted Castaneda Classic

Engage your mind and get a taste of the CC classroom experience. Spend 60 minutes with CC faculty, staff, and alumni diving into discussions and exploring new ideas together. It’s a chance to experience the thrill of learning and the energy of a CC class, all in a bite-sized session designed just for Family Weekend.

Family Weekend Pickleball Tournament
1 – 4 p.m.
Location: Adam F. Press Fitness Center, 44 W. Cache La Poudre St.
Get ready for some friendly competition on the pickleball court! Families are invited to join us for a Parent-Student Doubles Pickleball Tournament during Family Weekend. Whether you're a seasoned player or just learning the ropes, this is a great opportunity to play, cheer, and connect with other CC families.
This year’s tournament is open play — no pre-registration required. Courts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis throughout the event window. Teams will rotate in and out for short matches, so come ready to jump in when a court opens up!
Equipment will be provided, but feel free to bring your own paddle if you prefer.
CC Family Night Out at Trainwreck
5:30–8:30 p.m.

Get ready for the ultimate Family Weekend celebration at Trainwreck — the perfect spot to bring families together for a night of fun, food, and Tiger spirit! Your Family Weekend registration includes a delicious dinner and up to two beverages (alcohol included), plus unlimited access to their golf simulators, volleyball courts, cornhole, billiards, and more.
Note: Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult. On Saturdays Trainwreck has a policy of 18+ after 8 p.m. and 21+ after 10 p.m
