Our Staff

The Office of Sustainability fosters communication, collaboration, and coordination between stakeholders in the CC community. Our office consists of two professional staff, student employees, and volunteers.

As the Director of Strategic Initiatives and Sustainability, Ian provides strategic leadership to inform the Dean of the College and Chief Operating Officer about comprehensive sustainability initiatives aimed at continuing and improving campus-wide sustainability efforts. His responsibilities include:
  • Aligning budgetary allocations 
  • Establishing organizational structures
  • Managing governance frameworks
  • Deploying campus-wide communication strategies
  • Improving strategic operational groups
  • Directing the Office of Sustainability
  • Overseeing the State of the Rockies Program
  • Establishing and maintaining off-campus institutional partnerships
  • Providing academic support: classroom visits and research

As the Program Manager for the Office of Sustainability (OOS), Mae leads and oversees the day-to-day operations of the office to ensure alignment with the college's mission and goals. Her responsibilities include:
  • Collaborative budget administration for the OOS
  • Supervising all student employees
  • Leading internship and volunteer programs
  • Engaging in campus-wide communication and outreach efforts for the OOS
  • Developing and collaborating on events and initiatives with both on- and off-campus partners
  • Overseeing signature office programs 
  • Performing administrative duties
  • Mentoring student clubs
