Rising Sun Investments, LLC offers securities through NEXT Financial Group (member NASD/SIPC). Robert J. Fries, CSA is an independent investment professional servicing clients throughout Michigan and several other states including Florida, California, Ohio, Arizona and Georgia. Bob is a member of the Financial Planning Association of Michigan and the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. Bob holds a BA in Finance from Siena Heights University, Series 6, 7 and 63 securities licenses, Michigan Life, Health and Variable Contracts licenses. Bob has completed Oakland University’s extensive Personal Financial Planning course. As a former adjunct faculty member of Macomb Community College he educated people in retirement planning through the adult education program for several years with a major focus on the Michigan Public Schools Retirement System.

Bob has had extensive experience in retirement planning and has counseled hundreds of retiring employees from some of the Detroit areas largest companies including Michigan Consolidated Gas, DTE, Ford, Chrysler, GM and DuPont. Pension choices, life insurance, investment decisions, and estate planning issues are just some of the areas that he has been able to help his clients.
