Breckenridge Gardens, Inc., a Clarkston company was created to answer the growing need for people to maintain beautiful landscaping after installation. Our services include: planting annuals for homes and businesses, designing and pond building. Our maintenance is tailored to fit your needs and budget.

Melissa Breckenridge is an MSU certified Master Gardener, she has experience working at Bordine Nursery in their perennial sales department and she has been in charge of annual flower maintenance at Pine Knob Golf Course over the years. She has taken several courses through the Weigand’s Nursery Contractor Continuing Education program.

Our goal is to provide excellent service in caring for your residential or commercial property with competency, integrity and a smile. We work with a crew of 2-4 people who work quickly and diligently to accomplish the necessary trimming, pruning, deadheading of flowers to keep your property looking fabulous. Colleen Kelly, crew leader, is also an MSU certified Master Gardener. She has been with Breckenridge Gardens since 2000.

Our priority service agreement visits your property every two weeks throughout the growing season and includes: weeding, fertilizing ornamentals, pest management, dead plant replacement, rose care and anything necessary to keep your property in excellent condition.

Our regular service agreement visits your property every four weeks starting in May, and visiting once each month thereafter until the end of September. It includes all of the regular care you would give your own property.

Our on call service is available whenever you need us. Just call. We can usually be there within 48 hours for weeding.

We recommend a Spring clean up in April to get your property ready for the season. Spring clean ups can include: shrub trimming, fresh topdressing of topsoil and/or fresh mulch, fertilization and weed preventative.
