Carol Kirkland is the results driven professional behind the day-to-day activities at AVE. Carol began the business in 1991. Together, with husband and daughter-in-law, they have created one of southeastern Michigan’s leading independent office supply businesses.
Carol believes the best way to grow her business is to actively network and strengthen her business referral relationships. In addition to BNI, Carol is involved in numerous other organizations. Some of her favorites are NAWBO (National Association of Women Business Owners), eWomen Networking, and Inforum.
In her free time, Carol enjoys building her Two Sisters Gourmet business, relaxing, entertaining, and spending time with family and friends.
AVE is an INDEPENDENT office supply business that is family owned and operated with minority and woman certification. AVE incorporated in 1998. Our goal is to earn our customers business, starting small and showing them what we are capable of doing.

Products include such items as pens, paper, toner cartridges, binders, janitorial supplies, first aid supplies, and AV supplies, to name just a few. United Stationers is our number one office supplier, but we work with other suppliers and directly with manufacturers to meet the immediate needs of our customers.
AVE competes regularly with the “Big-boxes”. We are relationship oriented and pride ourselves in personally knowing our customers and meeting their needs. Customers can choose to order on-line, by phone, fax, or e-mail. We offer next-day delivery if needed and free delivery with orders over $50.
Our target customer is a business with 20-100 employees; however, we work with all sizes of businesses, home based to large city and county agencies and even schools.
